How to create inventory account

Step 1: Access the Inventory Account Menu

Expand the Account menu on the left-hand side and click on Inventory Account to open the Inventory Account Management section.

Step 2: Open the Add New Form

Click the Add New (+) button located at the top-right corner of the Inventory Account screen to open the Inventory Account Information form.

Step 3: Fill in the Inventory Account Information

  • Code: Enter a unique code for the inventory account (e.g., “101-000”).
  • Name: Provide a descriptive name for the inventory account (e.g., “Cash on Hand”).
  • Purchase Account: Check this box if the account is used for purchase transactions.
  • Sales Account: Check this box if the account is used for sales transactions.

Step 4: Save the Inventory Account

After filling in the required fields, click the Save button in the top-right corner of the form to create the new inventory account.

Step 5: Verify the Inventory Account

The newly added inventory account will now appear in the Inventory Account list. You can confirm it by searching for the Code or Name you entered.
