How to add a new QC (Receive) record

Step 1: Access the QC (Receive) Module

  • Navigate to the QC (Receive) section from the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Open the Add New Form

  • Click on the “Add New” button at the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Fill in the QC Information

  • QC Date – Select the date for the QC record.
  • Invoice No. – Choose the invoice related to this QC record.
  • Supplier – The system will auto-populate the supplier based on the selected invoice.
  • QC Type – Choose one of the following options:
    • Receive Invoice – Used when QC is performed for items received with a standard invoice.
    • Receive Special – Used when QC is performed for items received outside of a regular invoice process, such as sample materials or urgent orders.
  • NG Location – If applicable, select the NG (non-conformance) location.
  • Remark – Add any relevant notes or remarks.

Step 4: Enter QC Details

  1. Click on the “Details” tab.
  2. The system will list all items related to the selected invoice.
  3. To update the QC status for an item, click the edit icon (✏️) next to the item.

Step 5: Update QC Status

  1. In the item details pop-up, update the following fields:
    • QC Status – Select from the dropdown options (e.g., Pass, NG, Hold, Return to Supplier).
    • Remark – Add additional details if needed.
  2. Click “OK” to save the item details.

Step 6: Save the QC Record

  • Once all details are filled, click the “Save” button at the top-right corner.
