How to create Location

Step 1: Access the Location Menu

Expand the Master menu on the left-hand side and click on Location to open the Location Management section.

Step 2: Open the Add New Form

Click on the Add New (+) button located at the top-right corner of the Location Management screen to open the Location Information form.

Step 3: Fill in the Location Details

  • Location Code: Enter a unique code for the location. (Required)
  • Location Name: Provide the name of the location. (Required)
  • Location Type: Select the type of location from the dropdown menu (e.g., Warehouse, Store). (Required)
  • Parent Location: Choose the parent location from the dropdown menu if this location is a sub-location (optional).
  • Allow Negative: Check this box if the location allows negative inventory balances (optional).
  • Allow Picking: Check this box if the location allows item picking (optional).
  • Product Max Pcs: Specify the maximum number of products the location can store (optional).
  • Product Per Hr: Enter the number of products processed per hour at this location (optional).
  • Avg. Operation Cost: Provide the average operational cost for this location (optional).

Step 4: Save the Location

Once all required fields are completed, click the Save button in the top-right corner of the form to create the new location record.

Step 5: Verify the Location

The newly added location will now appear in the Location Management list. Verify the entry by searching for the Location Code or Location Name or Location Type you entered.
