Return after goods received

Step 1: Access the Receive Return Menu

Expand the Receive menu on the left-hand side and click on Receive Return to open the Receive Return Management section.

Step 2: Open the Add New Form

Click the Add New (+) button located at the top-right corner of the Receive Return Management screen to open the Receive Return Information form.

Step 3: Fill in the Receive Return Information

  • Return Type: Select either Credit Note or Debit Note based on the return transaction type.
  • Return Date: Enter the date of the return transaction.
  • C/N Date (if Credit Note is selected) or D/N Date (if Debit Note is selected): Enter the date of the credit or debit note.
  • From Location (for Credit Note) / To Location (for Debit Note): Select the location associated with the return.
  • Currency: Choose the currency for the transaction.
  • VAT: Select the applicable VAT rate.
  • Supplier: Choose the supplier related to the return transaction.
  • Payment Term: Select the payment term for the return.
  • Due Date: Enter the due date for the return transaction.
  • Exchange Rate: If applicable, enter the exchange rate for the selected currency.
  • Return Remark: Add any necessary remarks regarding the return.

Step 4: Add Return Details

Switch to the Details tab to add items related to the return.

  • Click + Invoice to select an invoice related to the return from the Completed Invoice Information list.
  • Click + Item to manually select an item from the Item Information list.

Step 5: Verify and Adjust Return Items

  • After selecting the invoice or items, review the item details including Item Code, Item Name, Return Qty, Unit, Return Unit Price, and Return Reason.
  • If needed, edit or remove items using the Edit (pencil) or Delete (trash) icons.

Step 6: Save the Receive Return Transaction

Once all required fields and items are completed, click the Save button at the top-right corner to confirm the receive return transaction.

Step 7: Verify the Receive Return Entry

The newly created return transaction will now appear in the Receive Return list. You can verify it by searching for the Return No., Supplier Name or etc.
